I grew up and resided in Rochester, New York until leaving to attend undergraduate

school at the College of Wooster in Ohio.  During my college program, I participated in an urban semester in Portland, Oregon working with youth at the juvenile justice facility
(Donald E. Long Home).
Upon graduation from Wooster I traveled west and have called Portland my home ever since.

I enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest and all it has to offer including telemark
skiing,
whitewater kayaking, hiking, camping, mountain climbing and soccer.

I have worked in the social services/mental health field since 1995.
